"...I commissioned a violin from the talented violin maker Yair Hod Fainas in 2010, and shortly before Christmas it arrived -  beautiful instrument inspired by my old Italian violin labeled Lorenzo Guadagnini..."

Judith Ingolfsson (Concert Violinist, Professor - University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart)

Romeo and Juliet met first threw their eyes and the greatest love story started in silence.
Then Shakespeare came along and the music started... I first saw Yair Hod Fainas's violin a beauty to look at! And then the sound came to match! Beauty engenders beauty...
Thank you.

Merci

"... During my search for perfection I became acquainted with the big schools of  ancient violin makers. I had played instruments made by Francesco Ruggieri, Mateo Goffrieller, David Tecchler, Gennaro and Nicolo Gagliano. At the moment I play a cello made by Yair Hod Fainas, because in this instrument I found something magical that I had never felt before...

      D. Maslennikov "

"The first thing which struck me once playing on Yair's cello, was the very large, generous sound which also included the quality and clarity that one can experiment with to no limits. With only these qualities mentioned, it makes an excellent cello."

Greg Tüske , (Student at the International Menuhin Music Academy)
